Membership Terms & Conditions

Upon successfully registering to become a Member of Queanbeyan Sports & Community Club, known as Campbell & George, and as a term of your Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time by the Club.

1. The following definitions will apply throughout these Terms and Conditions:

• Member means a person whose name has been entered on the Register of Members of the Campbell & George and who remains a financial Member in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
• Unfinancial Member means a Member who is an unfinancial Member in accordance with the Club’s Constitution.
• C&G means Queanbeyan Sports & Community Club, known as Campbell & George located on Crn Campbell & George St, Queanbeyan NSW 2620.
• Date First Registered means the date that a Member completes an application for Membership to Campbell & George, online or in-venue.
• Status Points means the points which accrue based on a Member’s spend (on food and beverage) and turnover (on gaming machines) and which determine the Reward Level a Member is within.
• C&G Rewards means the rewards program operated by Campbell & George for the benefit of its Members, as set out in these Terms and Conditions, which may be amended from time to time.
• Reward Points accrue when Members make purchases at Campbell & George, and they can be redeemed throughout the Club in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Reward Points and benefits expire if the Member becomes an Unfinancial Member.
• Reward Level means the Local Joker, Jack of Clubs, Queen of Spades, King of Diamonds, and Ace of Hearts Membership tiers, calculated based on the Status Points accrued in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.

2. As a condition of becoming a Member of Campbell & George, you will need to supply the following details:

• Name, date of birth and gender;
• Residential address and/or postal address; and
• Telephone/mobile and email addresses.

3. Your Membership application must be finalised in-venue and you agree to be bound by the Rules, Constitution, By-Laws, Regulations, Privacy Policy and any other terms and conditions or policies of Campbell & George which may be in force or amended from time to time.
4. Once your Membership is finalised, your name will be entered into Campbell & George’s Register of Members. This will be your Date First Registered.
5. All information you provide will be kept by Campbell & George in the Register of Members and will only be used in accordance with the Registered Clubs Act 1976 (NSW), these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy (such as for future promotion, marketing and publicity purposes in accordance with the Privacy Policy).
6. Your Membership and C&G Rewards are conditional upon a Member of Campbell & George. If a Member becomes an Unfinancial Member, they will forfeit all Reward Points and Status Points.
7. Upon submission of a valid email address and/or phone number, you consent to receiving email and/or SMS communications from Campbell & George. You agree that you will be opted-in to receive all material or correspondence, via email and/or SMS only, including but not limited to marketing or promotional material and any document or notices required to be provided to you under the Corporations Act 2001 (Cth).

Privacy Statement

8. Campbell & George is subject to the provisions of the Privacy Amendment Act (Enhancing Protection) 2012, which amends the Privacy Act 1988. The personal information provided by you on this form will be used to process your Membership application. All information required on the Membership Form is essential for approval of your Membership. You have a right to access and correct any of your personal information that the Campbell & George holds. Campbell & George does not disclose your personal information to any other organisation or person otherwise than in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or the Privacy Policy.
9. Campbell & George may disclose your information to third parties that provide services under contract to Campbell & George for reasons of database management or software development. This will be done under strict agreements and supervision, ensuring that your personal information is confidential and secure.
10. Your personal information, including information obtained as a result of placing your Membership card in a gaming machine or point of sale, may be used for marketing purposes to improve our services and to provide you with the latest information about those services and any promotions.

C&G Rewards

11. Upon you becoming a Member, you agree that C&G Rewards are subject to these Terms and Conditions, in addition to the Membership Terms and Conditions.
12. By swiping or scanning your Membership card (printed or digital) at the time of making a purchase in-venue, you agree to participate in the ‘C&G Rewards’ program and to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, as amended from time to time in the Club’s absolute discretion.
13. You must be a Member of Campbell & George to participate in the ‘C&G Rewards’ program.
14. Rewards are subject to the Reward Level of the Member.
15. Members agree to receive marketing communications in relation to offers and promotions being run by the Campbell & George. The Member agrees to receive communication via email, SMS or push notifications (unless they have ‘opted out’ of receiving marketing communication).
16. Members accrue 1 Reward Points for every $1 spent by swiping or scanning their Membership card during any transaction at Campbell & George, or by inserting their Membership card when playing any gaming machine (unless the transaction is of a type referred to in clause 18 or 19).
17. Members will accrue 1 Reward Point for every $1 spent on a function booking at Campbell & George.
18. Members will accrue Reward Points in the gaming machines as follows:

• Local Joker Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $8 turnover when playing electronic gaming machines and 1 Reward Point for every $30 turnover when playing multi-terminal machines;
• Jack of Clubs Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $6 turnover when playing electronic gaming machines and 1 Reward Point for every $23 turnover when playing multi-terminal machines;
• Queen of Spades Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $5 turnover when playing electronic gaming machines and 1 Reward Point for every $19 turnover when playing multi-terminal machines;
• King of Diamonds Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $4 turnover when playing electronic gaming machines and 1 Reward Point for every $16 turnover when playing multi-terminal machines; and
• Ace of Hearts Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $2 turnover when playing electronic gaming machines and 1 Reward Point for every $8 turnover when playing multi-terminal machines;

19. Members can earn Points 2 Play points whilst playing gaming machines at the rates outlined in clause 20 below. These can be redeemed on gaming machines or throughout the venue. Up to $50 in Points to Play can be redeemed during a 24-hour period on gaming machines (timed from first redemption) and credit cannot exceed turnover recorded in a play session.
20. Members will accrue Points 2 Play in the gaming machines as follows:

• When playing electronic gaming machines Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $5 turnover;
• When playing multi-terminal machines, Members earn 1 Reward Point for every $30 turnover;

21. A Member cannot use Reward Points to purchase alcoholic beverages while playing a poker machine and must purchase alcoholic beverages from the bar.
22. Members can use Reward Points to make purchases at Campbell & George. 1 Reward Point can be redeemed for $0.01.
23. Reward Points cannot be redeemed for cash.
24. Reward Points are not transferrable and a Member cannot accrue or redeem Reward Points on behalf of another Member.
25. It is the responsibility of the Member to scan or swipe their physical or digital card before proceeding with the purchase. Reward Points cannot be awarded after a purchase has been made. Once a transaction is complete, a staff Member is unable to issue Reward Points.
26. Reward Points whilst playing gaming machines will only be credited if the Member correctly inserts their Membership card into the gaming machine during play.
27. Benefits and rewards for each Reward Level are subject to change at the discretion of the Campbell & George.
28. In the event of termination of a Membership in any circumstance, all points and associated rewards will automatically be cancelled and hence not redeemable from the time of termination of Membership.
29. A Member who has been suspended or who has entered a self-exclusion deed is not eligible to earn or redeem C&G Rewards.

Status Points

30. All Members commence on the ‘Local Joker’ Tier Level when they join as a Member.
31. Status Points are determined by turnover on gaming machines, as well as how much a Member spends at Campbell & George across food and beverage.
32. Status Points allow Members to graduate to a higher Reward Level.
33. With the purchase of food and beverage within Campbell & George, Members earn 1 Status Points for every $1 spent.
34. When playing electronic gaming machines (EGM), Members earn 1 Status Point for every $8 turnover, and when playing multi-terminal machines, Members earn 1 Status Point for every $30 turnover.
35. Status Points will determine the Reward Level as follows:

• To start receiving Local Joker Rewards, Members must accrue between 0-2,999 Status Points in 180 days.
• To start receiving Jack of Clubs Rewards, Members must accrue between 3,000 – 11,999 Status Points in 180 days.
• To start receiving Queen of Spades Rewards, Members must accrue between 12,000 – 29,999 Status Points in 180 days.
• To start receiving King of Diamonds Rewards, Member must accrue between 30,000-59,999 Status Points in 180 days.
• To start receiving Ace of Hearts Rewards, Member must accrue 60,000 and over on Status Points in 180 days.

36. Status Points cannot be redeemed.
37. Members who have earned enough Status Points to graduate to the next Reward Level, are upgraded automatically.
38. Members will be downgraded if they have not accrued the Status Points required to retain their current Reward Level. This will be based on the Status Points earned over a rolling 180 day period from the date the Member graduates to the next Reward Level.
39. Members who have accrued the required amount of Status Points to retain their current Reward Level will do so.

 Birthday Rewards

40. Members will receive Birthday Rewards, subject to clause 40.
41. Birthday Rewards are issued on the first day of the Member’s birthday month and are valid for the month of the Member’s birthday only. If Birthday Rewards are not redeemed within the birthday month, they will automatically expire.
42. To receive Birthday Rewards, you must be an Member as at 11:59pm on the last day of the month prior to their birthday month.
43. The Birthday Rewards will be determined by the Members’ current Reward Level as at 11.59pm on the last day of the month prior to their birthday month.
44. Birthday Rewards cannot be used on gaming machines.
45. Birthday Rewards are subject to change at the discretion of Campbell & George.

General

46. Campbell & George takes no responsibility for replacing Reward Points due to an event which has occurred that is outside of the Club’s control, including but not limited to a lost, stolen, damaged, corrupted or faulty Membership card.
47. Members are entitled to receive a monthly player activity statement. Members should contact the Venue Manager or Assistant Venue Manager for this report.
48. The basis on which you can accrue and redeem Reward Points is determined by Campbell & George in its sole discretion and is subject to change from time to time without prior notice to you.
49. In the event of a technical failure or card malfunction, points will not be available for accrual or redemption and will not be credited at a future time in respect to the purchases or gaming machine or multi-terminal play made during these circumstances.
50. Campbell & George reserves the right to decide any matter or settle any dispute arising directly or indirectly out of or in connection to C&G Rewards and our decision on any such matter or dispute will be final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.
51. Campbell & George reserves the right to make changes to these terms and conditions at any time without notice and continued Membership will be deemed accepted of these terms as amended from time to time.
52. These terms and conditions are governed by the law applicable in the state of New South Wales and each party submits to the jurisdiction of the courts of that state. This Is the entire Agreement between the Club and Member in respect of its subject matter and supersedes any prior agreement, representation and or promotional material.
