For the second year, Campbell & George has been proud to sponsor Queanbeyan Whites Junior Rugby Club, supporting young players and the people behind one of our local sporting clubs.
And in 2026, there was plenty for the Junior Whites community to celebrate both on and off the field.
CREATING OPPORTUNITIES THROUGH RUGBY
At the heart of the Junior Whites is giving young people the chance to play rugby, build confidence and friendships, and feel part of their local club.
This year, the club introduced its Mini Whites program for Under 4s to Under 7s, opening the door for younger children to get involved in rugby and welcoming new families into the club.
For Queanbeyan Whites Junior Rugby Club President Troy, the experience is about more than what happens on the field. He hopes players learn about teamwork, respect and commitment, while building friendships and memories they can carry with them beyond their time at the club.
A CLUB BUILT AROUND COMMUNITY
Behind those experiences is a passionate community supporting the players.
Throughout the season, parents, coaches, managers and volunteers have all played a role in creating an environment where players and families feel connected to the club.
The club’s Family & Community Day was one example of that spirit, bringing the junior and senior clubs together as selected young players walked onto the field alongside the Whites First Grade side and took part in a halftime game.
This year also saw AJ appointed as the Junior Whites’ first Junior Club Captain, giving young players greater representation within the club.
There was plenty to celebrate on the field too, with Junior Whites teams progressing deep into the 2026 finals series, including two Under 10 teams reaching Grand Final Day.
These achievements capped off a strong season for the Junior Whites, with players developing their skills, representing their club with pride and sharing the experience with teammates, families and supporters.
For Campbell & George, it is that combination of participation, development and the people behind the club that makes us proud to support the Junior Whites.
MORE THAN SPONSORSHIP
Our sponsorship of the Junior Whites isn’t limited to what happens on the rugby field. Throughout the season, Campbell & George has also been a place for the club’s players, families and supporters to gather away from the game.
Friday night raffles have regularly brought the club, Campbell & George and the wider Queanbeyan community together, while the club’s fundraising Trivia Night brought families and supporters through our doors and raised important funds for junior rugby.
We’ve also welcomed the club for post-match functions throughout the season and will host the Junior Whites for their end-of-season presentation, giving players, families and supporters a place to celebrate the year together.
For President Troy, it is this connection that makes the relationship particularly valuable.
“Campbell & George’s support means a lot to the Queanbeyan Whites Juniors because it goes well beyond putting a logo on a jersey or providing financial sponsorship.
“They have genuinely opened their doors to our club and helped give our players, parents and supporters a place to come together.”
PROUD TO PLAY OUR PART
For Campbell & George, our sponsorship is about backing the people and experiences that make local junior sport so important – from the young players taking the field to the families, volunteers and supporters behind them.
As the 2026 season comes to a close, we’re proud to mark our second year sponsoring Queanbeyan Whites Junior Rugby Club and congratulate everyone involved on a fantastic season.
